We are thrilled to announce an initiative to make Greenville greener! Thanks to Fee in Lieu of the city of Greenville’s Tree Bank, we are planting 100 free trees for qualifying residents in the city of Greenville Special Emphasis Neighborhoods. This is part of our mission to enhance the city’s tree canopy and create a more sustainable community.
Who Qualifies for a Free Tree?
Anyone who resides within the city limits of Greenville can apply for one or two trees. However, special priority will be given to residents of the city’s Special Emphasis Neighborhoods listed below.

Haynie-Sirrine
Nicholtown
Pleasant Valley
Southernside
Sterling
Viola Street
West Greenville

How to Apply for Your Free Tree
It’s easy to sign up! Fill out the application form here.
Once accepted, you will need to call 811 to identify underground utility lines that need to be avoided while planting your tree.

We will contact you by email or phone with more details about how to receive your free tree. Be sure to provide accurate contact information when completing your application to avoid missing any updates.
