Free Tree Giveaway Data
TreesUpstate’s free tree giveaways make it easy for people to add more trees to their yards, neighborhoods and communities. To date, we’ve given away more than 60,000 trees, putting thousands of young trees into the hands of people across the Upstate.
Free trees are available to residents in Oconee, Anderson, Pickens, Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. These small saplings may not look like much when they leave our hands, but they have the potential to grow into valuable community assets that provide shade, improve air quality, help manage stormwater, support wildlife and make neighborhoods more beautiful.
Every tree we give away is an opportunity to make a difference. And when thousands of people plant trees in their own communities, those individual trees add up to something much bigger.
