Aaron Davis is a graduate of Clemson University and the University of South Carolina, where he earned degrees in education. As the Executive Director of TreesUpstate, Aaron brings a wealth of experience from his previous role within the organization as Director of Development and Community Relations. A native of South Carolina’s Lowcountry, he has also lived in Washington, D.C., Cincinnati, and San Francisco. 

Aaron has a passion for exploring the natural world, having visited some of the largest trees in California. His favorite trees include the deodar cedar, bald cypress, sassafras, and pignut hickory. He believes Arbor Day symbolizes national unity and rebirth and wishes it received greater recognition. Aaron lives in Greer near Lake Robinson with his wife, Ashley, their son, Will, and their Airedale Terrier, Gus.
