TreesUpstate. Known for her calm presence, collaborative spirit, and unwavering integrity, she
has dedicated her career to strengthening mission-driven organizations through strategic
stewardship and a deep commitment to community.
Before joining TreesUpstate, Shannon held senior leadership roles with The Salvation Army and
the YMCA of Greenville, where she built the operational foundations that help organizations
thrive. Her servant-leadership philosophy centers on listening, trust, and empowering others to
succeed.
At TreesUpstate, Shannon’s steady leadership and attention to detail ensure the organization’s
values of integrity, accountability, and care are rooted in every partnership and every tree
planted. She is the proud mother of two daughters and “Mimi” to three granddaughters, who
inspire her work for a greener, healthier future.
